hey this post is just to let you know how things are going
and things aren't going so well

right now it's the winter break
so i'm chillin'....it's hella cold

(wow i'm talking about the weather, i am bored and this is a bad omen for the rest of my week)

not kidding,
i was visiting a friend in Fremont and there was SNOW, YES, SNOW, in the nearby foothills!!!!
that is unusual

this whole weather pattern is unusual
like it was cold...and then suddenly hot...and then cold again....then warm...then WINDY

well maybe not that weird (so i don't sound like a 2012 superstitious believer)
i mean it is February

i know....if any of you have lived in Chicago or something think that i'm a California Wimp, then i'm sorry, but i can't help but enjoy a good thing.
anyways, but that's kinda the point....why do i feel that this is unusual for California?

as for my break...besides being cold, there's another reason why it's not so going so well (and i'm only 1 day into the break)

somehow, my teachers managed to cram a bunch of essay assignments into the next week.
and my biology and geometry teacher also give us a test at the end of the break, the moment we come back

like when we come back, they don't pamper us anymore with "why hello boys and girls, how was your break?"
now it's like "OK, INSTRUCTIONS ON THE BOARD, NO CHEATING, AND DON'T START ON THE TEST UNTIL I TELL YOU TO."

this whole week is going to be like waiting for a time bomb to go off
and when i say "managed" i don't mean it
i know that my teachers have like 20 years of this kind of experience...the fun side of being
the Man

fine, i may be exaggerating things a little
i know that some people don't even have breaks
but sometimes i think that break is just giving us more time to do the extra mounds of homework that the teachers give us

yet my goody-two-shoes, reasonable side is always nagging at me almost as badly as the homework sitting on my desk waiting for me to finish it

lately, i think that with my laziness, i think my brain has turned into a semi solid mush
don't get me wrong, i said i "think"
i still have A's and stuff

but i think my brain is in the early stages of deterioration

so maybe this busy homework/study (not) break, will help fix that

still, every time i think about my homework, i remember something else that i have to do
like filling out like 4 forms for the badminton try outs

and i probably wouldn't even get into the team...

o wait, i just remembered, i'm supposed to fill in another form for the Red Cross Volunteer thing...i'm serious, i just remembered

o wait, again, i just remembered that there's something wrong with my printer...maybe it's deteriorating due to lack of use like my brain

this is ironic, i was just saying about remembering stuff whenever i think about homework...and it's happening right now, live
it's like watching something go wrong on live television *cough *cough..christina aguilera...*cough

or witness a real car crash
cuz that would be coo - i mean, that would be terrible

anyways, i'll just deal with this week, this lovely, lovely week
i hate ironies when they are about me

like right now, i'm listening to this song that keeps on repeating in a jazzy beat, "life is good....life is good...life is good"

i should stop listening to it now
well hope you all you an awesome, (not really, cuz then you'll just make me feel even worse), next week

CHUCK CHUCK CHUCK!!!!

no it's not a person
it's a SHOW
and perhaps the best show i have EVER seen on TV so far in my 14 years of existence!!!

you know there are just one of those unique shows that are SOO good that you kind of don't want people to watch...because you are greedy and you wanna keep it to yourself
yet because you are a fan, you want the show to do well, and so you do your best to spread the word

well NBC's Chuck is one of these rare shows
right now it's not as popular is it deserves to be
i even think it's better than "30 Rock" and "The Office" AND "Lost" AANND "Community"
or any other shows that you think is good
and before you say that I have no sense of humor or I should go to hell for hating on your favorite shows, please.
Here me out

Chuck started out in 2007
for those of you who don't know what it's about, i'll tell you

it's about an (nerd) electronic store clerk, named Chuck Bartowski (who makes $12 an hour) who gets an email from his old buddy (Bryce Larkin) in Stanford (in which he got kicked out because Larkin framed him for cheating....and he stole his girl). When Chuck opens the attachment, the contents of the CIA-NSA supercomputer gets downloaded into his head. So basically, his head is a computer. It holds all the secrets of these two government agencies.

Whenever Chuck sees/hears something that has to do with any of the secrets, he suddenly have these "flashes" (which means that he looks at the secrets in his head) and suddenly understand everything that has to do with what he saw or heard.

So because the original Intersect computer was destroyed by Bryce Larkin, Chuck is the only copy of the Intersect. He basically holds all of the nation's secrets in his head. So the CIA and NSA sent their top spies to protect him: Sarah Walker (who's pretty) and John Casey (who's not so pretty). and then they go on various missions and Chuck (the nerd) is put in extreme situation. comedy ensues.

What makes this show so great is because it has multiple genres: Romance, Action, Comedy, and Mystery. So that means that they get to get away with a lot of stuff.

And another reason is that, the show makes a perfect balance between romance, and action/comedy. This balance keeps the show from slipping into the sappy soap opera stuff.
and yes...the romance is between Chuck and Sarah as you probably have guessed.
And the comedy...oh the comedy....
OK so the electronic store from where Chuck works is called the "Buy More"
which is just like a "Best Buy"
and Chuck works in the "Nerd Herd" division
which is just like the "Geek Squad"
and a lot of his co-workers are a bunch of idiots...or "Buy Morons" as NSA Special Agent John Casey thinks of them
so you can imagine how hilarious things can get in the "Buy More"

Plus Chuck lives with his sister Ellie Bartowski (who is a doctor), and her boyfriend Devon Woodcoomb AKA "Captain Awesome" (who also is a doctor). A doctor who's married to a doctor. Living in LA. Yup, their life is set. so there's comedy in there too.

so right now, chuck is kinda low on his mojo. After getting kicked out of Stanford (by his buddy) and his girlfriend dating the same guy who kicked him out, Chuck got depressed and went to work in a electronics store....and living with his sister.

oh and another thing
the music in "Chuck" is incredible! seriously, the Tim Jones, the music guy there has amazingly good taste in music.

now "Chuck" just recently got off the bubble. i remember when "Chuck" was really up for cancellation, the ENTIRE fan base rose up and campaigned for it's return....by buying tons of subway sandwiches...which is why they are one of the main sponsors. Now they are no longer in danger of cancellation...i think
it's not that they are bad, WHICH I HAVE PROVEN TIRELESSLY THAT THEY ARE NOT
it's just that they have a really bad time slot
MONDAYS at 9:00 PM

but their rating has been good...especially for that time slot!
and the critics love this show
and Zachary Levi (who was Flynn Rider in "Tangled" for those of you who don't understand "Chuck" terms) who plays Chuck is great
and Yvonne Strahovski who plays Sarah deserves an Emmy Nomination!!!
no kidding...you should see this Aussie act

you know, usually i like to stick to my Mark Twain advise on not using exclamation marks...but this time i'll make an exception...

i wish i could tell you all the stuff that makes Chuck soo good but it would take forever

so now i leave you with this video...

ok so "Pineapple" is the word that the Buy More employees use to initiate a full on evacuation of the store whenever there is a disaster. Chuck is held at gunpoint by a bad guy and he needs to save his friends. so he says...you guessed it, PINEAPPLE
